BLUEBONNET PARK: From Ennis Convention and Visitors Bureau, turn right (west) on W. Ennis Ave., turn left on Ennis Parkway and cross over the Hwy 287 Bypass. Turn left at stop sign and Bluebonnet Park is on the right. This 47 acre park was opened May 1996. This facility includes 8 lighted ball fields, 6 soccer fields, 10 acres of dedicated recreational open space, a 2 acre fishing lake, and a 7-tenths mile jogging path. This magnificent facility is available for softball, baseball and soccer tournaments and attracts teams from all across the State of Texas. It is not part of the bluebonnet trail.
LIONS PARK: From Ennis Convention and Visitors Bureau, turn right and travel west on W. Ennis Ave., turn left on Hall St and Lions Park is on the right, corner of Hall Street and Lampasas Street.
LAKE CLARK PARK: Located on the far west end of Baldridge Street and is a perfect place to have a picnic, to fish, to play on the playground, or to take a walk with a lake view.
ENNIS VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK, 2301 Ennis Parkway, Ennis, Texas: From Ennis CVB, travel west on Ennis Ave, turn left on Ennis Parkway...Ennis Veterans Memorial Park is on the left.
HIGHVIEW PARK at Lake Bardwell: You may drive into Highview Park and may also picnic and/or swim there. This park requires a facility use fee of $4 per carload. For camping reservations, etc, please call 972-875-5711.
Meadow View Nature Area is only open in April.
